About Me

November 7, 2009 we started our family! We have a little stud, who is our pride and joy. He is a wild, mischievous child, who makes us and everyone around him laugh. His personality is coming out more and more each day and we couldn't be happier. I cant wait to see what the rest of life will bring, but I am enjoying every step of the way. Thats us!

8 months update

Dayson is 8 months and it has been the best 8 months so far. He is a menace, he is into everything! He climbs the stairs any chance he gets. I am fine when he climbs them if I am behind, but its about 20 stairs and that would be a long fall. I have tried to teach him how to go down, but he just starts laughing as it is a game of me pulling him down and he hurries and climbs up again. He has his two bottom teeth since he was 6 months now he is getting his top two teeth and he is a sad little guy. All he wants is for someone to hold him. I hope this is just a teething stage and he wont need so much attention after they come in. He walks around furniture all day and wants to constantly stand. We taught him how to blow kisses to everyone when we leave, its very cute. He is really starting to get his personality, he laughs at everything. I taught him the other day to go down a slide and he absolutely loves it. I will be at the bottom and he will lean forward and slide down and scream. He is a little talker, any words you say he tries to say them or the sound of the first letter of the word. He constantly says nnno nno! I wonder where he got that word from. The last new little things he has learned is he will look at some pictures and he will point and say momma or point and say Dada. He gets the pictures right to. That's his 8 month update pretty soon he will be walking and I will wonder where did my little baby go? He is the sunshine in my life.

Christmas/New Years 2010

Daysons first Christmas was so much fun! We went to Teasdale Christmas eve and made it in time for Christmas dinner. My mom is the best cook. After moving out, I never turn down a home made meal. Christmas day we opened presents about ten, my dad didn't get home from feeding the cows till than, which was fine we all slept in. Everyone got spoiled. Dayson got everything he wanted.... While opening presents he was more interested in the tree decorations and eating the ribbon. I got him a lot of toys this Christmas since he hardly had any. He is now to the age where he can play with things, so he needed toys. One thing I have to comment on was how Joe treated me this Christmas. He was so he cuddly, loving, giving and acted so in love with our family than I have seen him act in a long time. I think the holidays made him think about all his blessing in his life. I wasn't complaining, some times we can just get so caught up in our jobs, school, and life your forget what is really important. Christmas day the rest of my family came over to see the loot and visit. I love my family. They all love to get together when ever possible. Dayson showed off the whole time.. He actually showed off on command. He would wave, clap, talk, and laugh. We left Sunday morning because of the bad weather, but Christmas was great as usual. I don't think I will ever stop going to my moms because I am afraid she wont spoil us as much as she does now. My favorite present from her would be 1200 thread Egyptian Cotton sheets. Its like sleeping in silk.

We got Dylan the Wednesday after Christmas to the next Sunday. It was so much fun. We gave him his presents and played with them all week. While he was here we played with trucks, played with balloons, blew bubbles, watched movies, went and saw Christmas lights, ate ice cream, bathed Louie, went to dinner, went to the local new years eve festivities, read books, drew letters, and played hide and seek. It was a eventful week. Dayson is kind of lost with out him now. Dayson would follow him around the house all day long. He really loves his big brother. I told Dylan don't let Dayson go up the stairs or put anything in his mouth, and sure enough he did both of those tasks. He is a big help, when I said lets clean up, he put all the toys away with out having to ask twice. We didn't stay up till 12:00 though we were too tired, but Joe was yelling it through the house when we woke up, that's good enough. Joe and I have been through a lot this year, some of it wasn't easy but it was worth it. Bring on 2011, I cant wait.
