About Me

November 7, 2009 we started our family! We have a little stud, who is our pride and joy. He is a wild, mischievous child, who makes us and everyone around him laugh. His personality is coming out more and more each day and we couldn't be happier. I cant wait to see what the rest of life will bring, but I am enjoying every step of the way. Thats us!

9 month update, February 2011

~He LOVES his DADDY~

Big smiles!
~A Picture Dylan took of Dayson ~I love Dylans smile~ ~He's a Goofball~
~do you think we could smile any bigger~
~BUBBLES~
Dayson is 9 months...Its funny how being pregnant for nine months seemed like it wouldn't ever end. Now nine months has seemed to go by so fast....like I say every update he is so fun! He has quite the little personality, he is a little shy with new people, but with people he is comfortable he definitely knows how to show off. His latest, he loves to say "nono" and shake his head. He knows what it means too, when ever I grab him and wipe his face or nose he will shake his head and say "nono." We taught him how to dance with his head and body when music comes on he will crack you up. He took 2 steps from the coffee table to the couch and will push his walker all over the house, but he hasn't taken off quite yet... He is his own little self he doesn't like any one trying to make him do things, which makes him a little stubborn headed. Since he is a little stubborn he has learned how to throw little fits. He will lay down and kick his feet. That is not good we definitely need to put that to a STOP. We had Dylan the other weekend. He is feeling more comfortable in our house and knows where everything is. Joe and Dylan's relationship is getting better. I think it is going through stages, and every time we get him it gets better and better. We love having Dylan whenever we can. While he is at our house we just now need to work with him on sharing. I think that's where Daysons fits come in because, Dylan takes everything from him. Toward the end of our weekend with Dylan every time Dayson had something in his hands and it was taken from him he would scream. Well I guess we might see a lot more of that with two brothers in my house. We just love both of them so much. Joe and I so happy and couldn't be happier!

Walking...... step by step

~Ladies Need a Ride~

Dayson is almost walking...He can walk when pushing his car and holding on to my one hand.. He will stand with out holding on to anything no problem, he just freaks out when he cant hold on when going forward. He is getting too big! One day he tried so hard to walk from the couch to the coffee table without getting down, but he was a little chicken.. One of these days he will take off!

School 2011 spring semester

I am going to write a couple of things about school this semester. I never have written about school and I should because I really have a lot of memories and experiences while being there. First off why in the world did I talk my self into going to cedar.... Today I went from 46 degrees to 6 degrees, and I have to drive 40 minutes to get there. I think that is the only downfall with going to Southern Utah University. I love the campus it has such a good feeling. I know so many people half of my high school goes there and it is nice to see a familiar face. This semester I have such fun classes. The one I love, but is very intimidating is my Experimental Behavior Psychology Class, each of us has a pet pigeon and I am deathly afraid of it. Our professor said if we can teach and train a pigeon how we want him to act, than we can change any persons behavior. I am going to take notes every class to see how I can change others behavior to my standards.....hahaha, well we will see how far that will go. I still haven't had the guts to hold the pigeon yet but hopefully soon. The next class that I love is my personal finance, I have learned so much in just the four weeks of going. I really enjoy learning how the economy, taxes, interest rates, and government work. I just need to brag for a second I think I am a over achiever, well not really I actually quite ditsy. So my professor kept saying you need to hand in your home work next week 1-19. So once I started doing it I was like holy crap he is a slave driver. I kept calling my friend being like how the heck did you do all of it so fast and she was like I have been doing it for a while. So for the past weekend I have been doing this homework 24-7. The day came to hand it in and I still have some chapters to do and everyone else was handing it in. So I handed 1-14 in. The next class meeting I went to hand in the rest and he was like you don't need to hand any more in, you have done all the home work for the semester. We only needed to hand in 19 pages not 19 chapters or 54 pages. So I guess all my homework is done for the semester, but man did I bust my butt night and day to do it. It would help to listen more closely in class huh.

8 months update

Dayson is 8 months and it has been the best 8 months so far. He is a menace, he is into everything! He climbs the stairs any chance he gets. I am fine when he climbs them if I am behind, but its about 20 stairs and that would be a long fall. I have tried to teach him how to go down, but he just starts laughing as it is a game of me pulling him down and he hurries and climbs up again. He has his two bottom teeth since he was 6 months now he is getting his top two teeth and he is a sad little guy. All he wants is for someone to hold him. I hope this is just a teething stage and he wont need so much attention after they come in. He walks around furniture all day and wants to constantly stand. We taught him how to blow kisses to everyone when we leave, its very cute. He is really starting to get his personality, he laughs at everything. I taught him the other day to go down a slide and he absolutely loves it. I will be at the bottom and he will lean forward and slide down and scream. He is a little talker, any words you say he tries to say them or the sound of the first letter of the word. He constantly says nnno nno! I wonder where he got that word from. The last new little things he has learned is he will look at some pictures and he will point and say momma or point and say Dada. He gets the pictures right to. That's his 8 month update pretty soon he will be walking and I will wonder where did my little baby go? He is the sunshine in my life.

Christmas/New Years 2010

Daysons first Christmas was so much fun! We went to Teasdale Christmas eve and made it in time for Christmas dinner. My mom is the best cook. After moving out, I never turn down a home made meal. Christmas day we opened presents about ten, my dad didn't get home from feeding the cows till than, which was fine we all slept in. Everyone got spoiled. Dayson got everything he wanted.... While opening presents he was more interested in the tree decorations and eating the ribbon. I got him a lot of toys this Christmas since he hardly had any. He is now to the age where he can play with things, so he needed toys. One thing I have to comment on was how Joe treated me this Christmas. He was so he cuddly, loving, giving and acted so in love with our family than I have seen him act in a long time. I think the holidays made him think about all his blessing in his life. I wasn't complaining, some times we can just get so caught up in our jobs, school, and life your forget what is really important. Christmas day the rest of my family came over to see the loot and visit. I love my family. They all love to get together when ever possible. Dayson showed off the whole time.. He actually showed off on command. He would wave, clap, talk, and laugh. We left Sunday morning because of the bad weather, but Christmas was great as usual. I don't think I will ever stop going to my moms because I am afraid she wont spoil us as much as she does now. My favorite present from her would be 1200 thread Egyptian Cotton sheets. Its like sleeping in silk.

We got Dylan the Wednesday after Christmas to the next Sunday. It was so much fun. We gave him his presents and played with them all week. While he was here we played with trucks, played with balloons, blew bubbles, watched movies, went and saw Christmas lights, ate ice cream, bathed Louie, went to dinner, went to the local new years eve festivities, read books, drew letters, and played hide and seek. It was a eventful week. Dayson is kind of lost with out him now. Dayson would follow him around the house all day long. He really loves his big brother. I told Dylan don't let Dayson go up the stairs or put anything in his mouth, and sure enough he did both of those tasks. He is a big help, when I said lets clean up, he put all the toys away with out having to ask twice. We didn't stay up till 12:00 though we were too tired, but Joe was yelling it through the house when we woke up, that's good enough. Joe and I have been through a lot this year, some of it wasn't easy but it was worth it. Bring on 2011, I cant wait.
