Always be prepared

So I came to a relization with babies they are unpredictable and be extra extra prepared for every circumstance. This may gross you out but I have to write this to remind myself and anyone else to always carry extra diapers, wipes, clothes, and binkies where ever you go. So when joes dad came down to visit we wanted to take him to Zions and take him hiking. Dayson and I already went on a hike so the next one they wanted to go on I decided to stay at the Lodge and wait for them. So right before they took off I thought I new Dayson well enough and new he wouldnt be stinky again. So I had Joe change him real quick with our last diaper and sure enough 5 min after they left he had a bad blow out. With the wipes i had left I tried to wipe it all up and clean it off his back and shirt and my slelf.. So when I was doing that I layed him on his belly on my legs and yep he peed all over my leg so now I had everything on me.. Than I ran out of wipes so I was freaking out everyone was around and saw what was happening so I decided to go top the bathroom to get toilet paper to wipe the rest up and sure enough he drops his binki down the toilet....after that I just left and went to a bench away from everyone, I still dont no if the binki clogged the toilet because it is those huge hospital binkis but o well wasn't going to stick my hand down the toilet to so sorry Zions national park.. I also felt bad for the people in the shuttle that had to ride with us to our cars as they had 2 smelly people riding with him.. So moral of the story always be more than enough prepared..

So "Dace Dog" his new nick name ......thanks to ally but any way he is such a binki baby which I think it is fine at least for right now it isnt his hand or thumb at least I can take the binki away...so funny story I sat dayson up on on the couch and than I put a little pillow in front of him so his binki would stay in so I wouldnt have to go and put it in every second when it would fall out and I was folding laundry and happend to look over and his binki had fell out and was on the pillow a couple of inches in front of him and he was looking at it for a while but not crying so I didnt go over there and finally he decided to try to get it and he fell forward and caught it in his mouth than fell over on the couch and still wasnt crying because he finally got his binki seriusly it was so funnny maybe not as funny when I write it but if had it filmed than you could see what I mean....he is 6 WEEKS and boy does time fly he is changing so much but I love it....I love being a mom...

1st times-and 1 month old

Dayson loves the water and since it is so hott in St George we took him swimming... He loved it! After that we went to Teasdale for a week and I am sure he loved that ha.... or all the attention from everyone! Allyson spoiled me while I was there she was the second mom and Sarah just loves the baby stage which is good she got him to calm down and go to sleep in just a matter of seconds. Its so funny some people say he looks just like me and others think he looks just like joe. My dad called him little joe the whole time we were there, joe and I do kind of look a like our selves so it doesnt bother me when they people say he looks like one or the other... The only bad part of the trip was dayson got off his schedule usually he sleeps till 4 am but after he got home he would wake up like everyhour for the next couple of nights he is back to normal now... The week I was gone Joe had to stay home to work and boy did he miss us. I took our dog louie our baby and me and to mention a week was the longest we have been apart since we started dating so it was a change, He got to sleep all the nights with out distractions but he said he would take those distractions than be alone...Next The best news ever is my sister brought me my birthday present down which was from her, collette, and mostlly my mom it was a kate spaid purse...ahh I love it! Thanks guys! joe cant figure out way someone would spend so much on a purse and I said it is mostly for the name, He just is happy it was a gift not something he had to buy...boys they just dont get it...Last of all Dayson is talking, smiling, and laughing and I love it... I just love him more and more everyday and my favorite is I can kind of see his personality more each day.... I have a feeling he will be very happy and make others happy to, well I hope!

3 weeks

Dayson is getting so big he is 3 weeks and wow has it went buy fast but loved every min of it. When he left the hospital he was 7 pounds 14 oz than at his doctor appoiment he was 9 pounds 15 oz and he has grown 2 inches... He is now smiling and making cute baby noises I love it! His hair is going lighter is is now a red brown I am sure it will go blonde even Joe who is really dark had white blonde hair till he was about 4 so I guess we will see later what he will have.. I just hope he doesnt loose his hair and look like a little old man ha...jk he is too cute for that... This next week I am going to teasdale for a week and man is it so hard to pack for a baby you need enough diapers and clothes and everthing you can think of and if you forget anything when going to a small town you are in trouble because there isnt even a store for miles or a walmart... so wish me luck than I have packed everything he will need....

2 weeks old and growing like a weed..

Dayson was 2 weeks on tuesday and wow has he grown. It makes me kind of sad but he is almost out of new born clothes which is ok I dont have many cute out fits that are new borns. Since I am a mom now I think I can brag a little. He can already hold his head up and I promise he can roll over I have a video to show you and not only one video if you want me to show you I will ha I think he just really hates his stomach so he trys to hard to roll over and he does. In this video dont think I am a bad mom he is crying like the whole time I just had to record it again to show my sister she thought I rigged the first video I sent her.... We also had his new born pics done, we got a free 30 by 20 portrait so we went in there and man did they get there moneys worth we of course bought the cd and a bunch of other pics so it added up.... They did a good job though and he was so good didnt cry the entire time. We also gave him his first real bath and he love love loves it I think it is my favortite time with him also. I just love this little guy and I am so happy he is a part of my family.

Dayson Arrived

May 11, Dayson Joe Ross arrived he was 8 pounds 3 oz.... he is my world! After complaining for 9 months and a extra 2 weeks after his due date. He was well worth it! I would have to admit though it is a shock to know that he is mine. I had a long labor which I hope I never had to go through labor like that again.. Hopefully next time Dayson had cleared the way so it will be easier. He is getting so big in just a week it makes me sad cause I know time is going to fly by. I will just have to cherish him everyday he will only be little once.. He is such a good baby at nights he sleeps 6 hours straight and hardly ever crys only when he is hungry. It hasnt been to much of a transition except for the better. This has been such a blessing and I am very happy to have him. Joe loves him and helps out so much. He is the diaper man he is always so worried that he is going to get a rash so he always changes him so I dont complain..

Update

Well to update this past month well I decided Louie my dog needed a hair cut. He has needed one since the day we got him so we took him into the groomer and when he went in he weighed 12 pounds and when he came out he weighed 10 pounds....... I love it he is more cuddly now and so cute. Everyone says he will be mean to the baby and I will have to get rid of him but I have faith that he will be nice and love the baby just as much as we will.














For our spring break we decided to make a California trip.. I was kind of worried at first before I went cause I know your not suppose to travel long distances when your 8 months pregnant but I said what the heck if I go into labor my sister can deliver me which would be awesome but that didn't happen. She has been more my doctor than my real doctor in St George cause I constantly call her on any problem or question I have. We had fun we left on Friday and came back on Sunday not to long of a trip but it was fun we went to Huntington beach which is right by Ally sons house and Joe and his brother and their friend went surfing and boggy boarding. Allyson and Louie and I just watched and hung out. Allyson actually fell in love Louie she was like if you ever feel sad and need attention just take a dog for a walk everyone stops and talks to you. We wondered if you get more attention walking a dog than having cute children I guess one day we will know.. After that we went shopping which I so needed I dont really know how to dress my self when being pregnant so we went to maternity gap and found a cute pair of jeans that I can wear later and a couple of shirts. Saturday night we went to hollywood and visited Joes aunt Tyger she lives part time in Hollywood and part time in Houston. She is the 3rd family member I have met from his family I am sure I will meet more as time goes by ha.... The trip was fun and a success I didn't go into labor but I did swell up more than I had been. Sometimes I feel like I am swelling and swelling and swelling and maybe one day I can just blow up and than blow way....I wish!!!!! We said that may be the last trip we can take before having to worry about a baby so it was fun while we can.

Last update about this month I am having braxton hicks contractions I was worried I was going into labor but It is just signs of pre labor and my doctor said I will be having him in the next couple of weeks so just watch to see if the contractions come and is steady and not sporadic like they have been.. I am so excited I cant wait I am 36 weeks today and they say he is running about a week bigger so he should be fine in case I do have him a little earlier. The only thing is I have a baby shower scheduled for April 10 and if I can just wait till April 11 than it would be perfect. I guess we will just see and play the waiting game. Maybe just maybe I will upload a baby bump pic I know it is just me but I do not think my stomach is cute at all I am sure the little guy inside is cute just not my belly....
