About Me

November 7, 2009 we started our family! We have a little stud, who is our pride and joy. He is a wild, mischievous child, who makes us and everyone around him laugh. His personality is coming out more and more each day and we couldn't be happier. I cant wait to see what the rest of life will bring, but I am enjoying every step of the way. Thats us!

Labor Day

We had so much fun on Labor day our family has a Pace reunion every year. We brought our tent to stay in which was perfect for us except Dayson wont sleep any where but his bed so it was a long couple of nights. The boys went on a horse ride all day and the girls took the kids fishing. Dylan loved fishing and learned to cast the fishing pole and Dayson loved holding the fish. We had awesome dutch oven food and played lots of games with the family. Times like these are so memorable. We rode four wheelers all day which the boys loved. They would sit on the four wheelers all day till someone would take them on a ride. Dayson could be outside all day if he could he hated going into the tent to sleep. He also thinks he can do anything and go any where I finally had to put a leash on him so he would stop wondering off by himself. He thinks he is just as big as his older cousins, not yet little man. As always we had a blast.

August 2011

August was very busy for our family, we had just got back from Hawaii and we had Dylan for our 2 week visit and we had so much fun. We went to our Washington county fair and rode the rides, a camels, and we also went to the Derby. The boys loved the Derby. We also had our first camp out with the boys. We played baseball and roasted marshmallows. The next weekend after Dylan left, we flew to Dallas to see Joes family. It was so nice to see all of them. Dayson absolutely loved Grampa Melvin. There was a time where Dayson got in trouble for not sharing, and he hits the table as he was mad and than ran to Grampa because he thought he would save him. We are very blessed that I have this job where the mileage gap between Joes family and us isn't as bad since we can fly to Texas on a free weekend. It was a eventful and exhausting month.

Crazy kid!

Dayson is 16 months.!!! Can you say holy cow my baby is a toddler. He is such a BOY and I love it. He is a very tough active little boy. He loves mud, in fact he cant stay out of the mud. He loves to be outside. He loves any type of animals and has no fear of any thing. He can ride fourwheelers, horses, and be out side all day long. All day long he says "outside" outside, he just cant get enough. He can handle pain very well he falls down, runs into things, hits his head, and he just gets back up and keeps running. He has such a little temper, I read this is normal. He doesnt no how to handle their emotions so he will bite, slap, or fall to the ground in a tantrum. He is very healthy, except for a little cold in July but other than that he has been a happy camper. He climbs on everything just recently he has figured out to climb onto the chair than to the counter. He talks quite a bit. He acts like he is having full conversation, but there is only have one legitiment word in there. He can understand everything you tell him, and will follow direction if you tell him something, except the word STOP. If he has his mind set it is hard for him to stop what he is doing, he just want his own way. The other day he learned how to push his scooter. I have to hold it up for him but he pushes hisself with his little foot. I am pretty sure he is Left handed, he grabs things with his left, pushed his trucks with his left, and if he always switched the object to his left hand when it is in his right hand. This is my crazy boy and he keeps me so busy. I am so happy he came to our family, he is our whole world.

Maui

Joe and I went to Maui on July 25, 2011. We made it to LA that night, stayed with my sister than woke up early on Tuesday to find a airline that had room for us. We got bumped the first two flights. We decided to walk down the airport, and see if we can get on any plane going to the islands. We saw one to Honolulu and they had room so we boarded, and said that we will just have to buy a ticket to Maui, once we got to Honolulu. We finally made it to our Maui after flying all day. We needed to get a car rental and we got hooked up. The girl gave us a Subaru as a free upgrade and she also discounted the price. We made it to our resort, it was right on the beach and was beautiful. Our first night we had dinner on the beach, and watched the cliff diving show off of the cliffs by our hotel. The rest of the week consisted of touring the island, trying to surf and boogie board, swimming, tanning, eating, hiking to waterfalls (we saw over 10 different water falls, and sleeping inn. One major thing we love it how green the vegetation was and how blue the ocean was. It was a perfect temperature and there were hardly any bugs it was paradise. It was a needed trip for Joe and I. We almost had forgot how to act together with out a baby. We made the flight home, I was worrying about that all week. We made it home on Sunday about 11 am. It was such a fun trip, but missed my little Dayson so much. A week was to long for me to be away from him. When I came to pick him up, he pretty much jumped right out of Josies arms. He was so excited to see us, on the way home he kept pointing and blabbering on, like he was telling me stories from what happened all week. This was a great vacation, since we can check Hawaii off our list we are deciding where to go to next. Till our next adventure!

Thanks to my family for taking care of Dayson, even when he had his first little cold. I am sure he was in heaven at their house where he could roam free out side all day.
