About Me

November 7, 2009 we started our family! We have a little stud, who is our pride and joy. He is a wild, mischievous child, who makes us and everyone around him laugh. His personality is coming out more and more each day and we couldn't be happier. I cant wait to see what the rest of life will bring, but I am enjoying every step of the way. Thats us!

Update

Well to update this past month well I decided Louie my dog needed a hair cut. He has needed one since the day we got him so we took him into the groomer and when he went in he weighed 12 pounds and when he came out he weighed 10 pounds....... I love it he is more cuddly now and so cute. Everyone says he will be mean to the baby and I will have to get rid of him but I have faith that he will be nice and love the baby just as much as we will.

For our spring break we decided to make a California trip.. I was kind of worried at first before I went cause I know your not suppose to travel long distances when your 8 months pregnant but I said what the heck if I go into labor my sister can deliver me which would be awesome but that didn't happen. She has been more my doctor than my real doctor in St George cause I constantly call her on any problem or question I have. We had fun we left on Friday and came back on Sunday not to long of a trip but it was fun we went to Huntington beach which is right by Ally sons house and Joe and his brother and their friend went surfing and boggy boarding. Allyson and Louie and I just watched and hung out. Allyson actually fell in love Louie she was like if you ever feel sad and need attention just take a dog for a walk everyone stops and talks to you. We wondered if you get more attention walking a dog than having cute children I guess one day we will know.. After that we went shopping which I so needed I dont really know how to dress my self when being pregnant so we went to maternity gap and found a cute pair of jeans that I can wear later and a couple of shirts. Saturday night we went to hollywood and visited Joes aunt Tyger she lives part time in Hollywood and part time in Houston. She is the 3rd family member I have met from his family I am sure I will meet more as time goes by ha.... The trip was fun and a success I didn't go into labor but I did swell up more than I had been. Sometimes I feel like I am swelling and swelling and swelling and maybe one day I can just blow up and than blow way....I wish!!!!! We said that may be the last trip we can take before having to worry about a baby so it was fun while we can.

Last update about this month I am having braxton hicks contractions I was worried I was going into labor but It is just signs of pre labor and my doctor said I will be having him in the next couple of weeks so just watch to see if the contractions come and is steady and not sporadic like they have been.. I am so excited I cant wait I am 36 weeks today and they say he is running about a week bigger so he should be fine in case I do have him a little earlier. The only thing is I have a baby shower scheduled for April 10 and if I can just wait till April 11 than it would be perfect. I guess we will just see and play the waiting game. Maybe just maybe I will upload a baby bump pic I know it is just me but I do not think my stomach is cute at all I am sure the little guy inside is cute just not my belly....

Count your blessings

Last sunday or lesson was on count your blessing and positive thinking. Well I absolutely loved this lesson this hit home so much it was crazy. All my life I have been the one to always be happy and love life and everything in it. When joe first saw me the first thing he had noticed that I always had a smile on my face. When I heard that I loved that compliment more than any other thing he could of said. Well any way lately I have complained about being pregnant and playing pore pitty me but I realized it doesnt get me any where. Sure it sucks gaining weight and not having a clear face but in reality that is not everything. I should be thinking that I raising a baby and I get to have a gift of being able to have a baby and raise him to be the best he can be in every way possible. Pregancy is a gift so it is one of my blessing I should be counting the negative that comes with it I can worry about it later.I will just have to hop right back into the gym and doing zumba. Besides being pregnant I am so excited to be a mom and I have already have such a love for him and I prob wont be able to comprehend what I will feel when I first hold him. I only have 6 weeks left and I am so excited. I have really grown up and so has Joe and our life is really coming together. We have been paying tithing and wow thats a blessing in its self. Even though it is hard to write out a check every month that I am sure we all can think of something we could buy with it but I has really gave us a million more blessings and oppertunities. We bought a car and was able to find a great deal and finance it for a way good interest rate. Joe got a raise and he gets insurance which is so great so now I dont have to worry about working while I have a little baby. I have a great family that is very supportive and I have the best husband ever that helps me out with everything. He is my best friend and I am so happy I found him or he found me. Today he brought me home a recliner that matches out furniture he found a great deal which is another blessing I have been talking about how I need a rocker before the baby and we would always go and look at them at target but they were still $200 so today before he got off work he went to a funiture store that was foreclosing and he found a huge rocker/recliner for $200 so it was a steal and I love it. So lesson learned there is so much to be thankful for and you will learn something and grow from every experience.

Bun the the Oven

  • So as most of you know or don't know I am having a baby!!!! YEA........I am also having a BOY but he does not have a name yet....I will have one set and everyone will voice their opinion and I am weird, I listen to others more than my self and of course there is Joe who is so so so picky on names we want a unique name and one that is not to popular. My family all wants me to go with a name from my genealogy and ya that would be great but some of them are to different and the ones I like either don't fit with my last name of Ross or Joe doesn't not like it.... So that brings me to my nameless baby maybe in the end I will secretly have a name picked out and when everyone is gone I will go and name him all by my self and everyone will have to deal with it ha even Joe!......If you have any ideas let me know any name would be helpful.
  • Any way I am so excited to meet him and see what characteristics he will have and what he will look like. I can already tell he will be stubborn when I went to get my ultra-sound to see if he was a boy or girl I was in there for 40 minutes that's a long time for a ultra sound but the little guy kept his legs crossed for that long. I couldn't leave without knowing either, We kept banging on my belly for him to move but he wouldn't he just would punch us back ha and of course he would not move his head either so we could see how big it was. He was comfortable and didn't want to be disturbed even when we were banging and punching him and finally he moved well now I know what I need to be prepared for is someone who has a mind of his own.
  • Another funny thing is he will not ever kick Joe if his hand is on my belly it is weird he will always kick me and if I lay Louie on my stomach he will kick him all day long so finally Joe figured out the only way to feel this little boy is to burp really loud to my stomach and we will kick instantly it is quite funny.
  • Things I am looking forward to that I never have thought about and it is simply laying on my stomach again man I miss that so much, having energy again, fitting in my Jeans.....ugh if I will ever be able to again ha, and I think what I am most excited for is meeting my little baby and you cant forget HAVING A CLEAR FACE.....
  • Joe's family had emailed me some pics of Joe when he is a baby and man do I think he is adorable and of course I think I was so cute as a baby to so I guess we will see what our new baby will look like!

Recap of 2009 this post might be long but this is also my journal so I dont want to forget the highlights of this year....

New Years we went to Las Vegas and trust me we will never do that again it was so crowed and it took us two hours to walk two blocks so we could get back to my car....ya Vegas is the worst place to be during New Years...

Febuary- My parents bought a 2 bed room condo behind the temple in St George so I moved in their and than rented out the rooms with some great room mates!

March-I was given a dog and I named him diesel he was the cutest puppy ever he was mix of a yourkie and shitzu. I am such a animal (dog) lover and the second I had renters (aka my parents) that would let me have a dog than I did....well I don't know how much they let me have a dog cause I had him for a couple months with out even telling them, I know I am horrible, but I new what they would do so I decided to wait till I was attached to the little guy to tell them and they could make me give him away.....
(its better to ask forgiveness than permission right)!

May- We went to zions a lot and hike around and saw a lot of the scenery. We picked the right time to go there because it wasn't to hott like June and July was, and it wasn't to cold.. The highs for the summer for June and July were 120 holy cow that's when I want to be in Teasdale.

July- This month was mine and Joes birthday, For his birthday on the (19) I had surprise party for him and he was definately surprised.... I made him believe we were going to go get pizza for him and my roomates and a couple of his friends would meet him at the river where he skim boards he loves to do that. Than I called him a little later saying he had to take Justin(his brother) back to our house to be picked up by his cousin so he was so mad he thought he would be late to the the river and what he thought was his party but nope it wasn't he walked in the house to see if any one was there and we surprised him it was so fun it was his first birthday part any one has thrown him..... Than for my birthday (25) we went to Lady Atebellum it was here is St George and it was awesome they are by far my favorite country artist for the time being and Joe also took me to Vegas to go shopping. I also dyed my hair dark this is a reminder never to do that again.

August- This month was very sad Diesel disappeared... We went home for the Wayne county fair and one night when we left for the durby he was there and when we got back he was gone so either some one stole him or he ran off or something ate him....yes yes very sad day for me and joe

Sept- I Got Engaged! We had dated a year by now and than I got engaged to the man of my dreams.......He made me go on a scavenger hunt to all of our favorite places and than he purposed!

Oct- I bought another dog! His name is Louie and I love him so much he was already 3 when I got him so he is already potty trained yes, he has been the lowest matience dog I have ever had he doesn't jump on the couches or bark only when he doesn't like you...Some people say he is ugly but nope I don't he is the cutest dog ever! but I still remember Diesel too I just got bored and needed another dog....

Nov- I Got Married! We had our reception In Bicknell Utah....This is for sure one of the happiest days I will ever have and I will never forget it!

December- Christmas was great Joe and I went to Teasdale with my family...My parents spoiled us and Joe and I spoiled each other! He wanted a wii forever so I got it for him and of course I tricked him into thinking it was a sled that goes in snow and he was mad about that cause he kept saying we live in St George why would you get me that so I did good this year in hiding it...

This is a Christmas I will also never forget my Dads brother and my uncle Mark passed away right before Christmas.. it was such a shock to all of us and it was very hard to understand why this had to happen but God always knows what is best and everything happens for a reason and I know on day I will see him... We will all miss him he was one of the most honest respectable man you will ever meet. We had his Funeral on Dec 28, 2009 it was such a wonderful funeral there were so many good talks spoken and it was the perfect way for all of us to remember him and what he has done .... I will always remember him the example he has been to him..... Thanks uncle Mark!

Best time of the year!

My favorite time of the year is from Thanksgiving to Christmas.... I love the lights, friends, family , gifts, and my favorite the Christmas spirit... Last weekend Joe and I and my parents got tickets to go to the Mormon tabernacle concert in Salt lake City I was great if any of you haven't been I suggest you go... if you don't think you will like it trust me you will. if my dad wants to go and you know my dad than you know there must be some thing great about it ha..... Joe also loved it. The only bad part of this time of year is the snow not just the snow its self but driving in the snow and last weekend we had to drive in it the whole time which was kind of nerve racking for me but my jeep did great and got us home safely... May I add after last weekend I was happy I lived in St George where we don't get snow and it is hardly ever under 40 degrees! Being newly married and have my own house I had asked my dad to bring me a Christmas tree so of course he did, When he brought it in it looked like a great tree and would fit perfect in my house which it did but after putting the lights on and my few decorations we decided it was our charlie brown tree...Not a tree you see at Ti Pan but it is the thought and meaning of the tree that counts right... I Love this time of year especially having time off from school and work and being around family and eating all the good food.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and great new year!
